I was enjoying my morning cup of coffee and looking out the window when I saw a Barrington real estate agent putting up their open house signs. Wow! I really have to give that real estate agent credit for being so dedicated considering the current temperatures. (Certainly reminds me of the Vehix.com commercials.)
Open House Sunday season is starting back up and I noticed three open houses taking place in our neighborhood. The one mentioned above is for a house within visibility so I occasionally took glances out the window to see if anybody was showing up. If anybody did show up, I knew they would certainly be very serious Barrington home buyers to brave the cold driving around looking for Barrington homes. (If any of them do sell today, I'll gladly commend the real estate agent that sold the home.)
There is certainly nothing wrong with doing open houses but as the Vehix.com commercials point out, there is a better way to search for Chicago real estate then driving around in this type of weather. Anyways, in the spirit of things, I took some pictures today (pretty much the same locations you'll see on our home page during the times that make Barrington such a beautiful place to live.)
Somewhere underneath that ice are some very cold fish!
If you are looking for real estate in Barrington and want to save some gas, you can use our Chicago Real Estate. It's a little warmer and all of the open houses being held today can be found there. (At least all of the homes in our neighborhood are there.)
Until then, Happy Searching!
