Stocks Go Down - Blame it on Real Estate!

Real Estate Trends

Oh yes.. let's blame it on the real estate market for an excuse for stocks going down.

Like it was any secret that some lending companies were going to have some bad numbers and belly up. There has been plenty of media resources that have been telling you that the real estate market was over priced, over inflated, over leveraged, over whatever. In many real estate markets, they were right but to apply it nationally is wrong. All real estate is local and what may be the case in one area, may not apply in another area.

Easy money and over speculation in certain real estate markets was more then obvious. Bad earning reports from lenders that helped fuel the speculation with easy loans certainly was no surprise. The stock market does not lose value when companies have bad earnings... the market goes down when stocks are cashed out!
