For August, Real Estate sales in Illinois were down 17.6%. For area 10 on the Multiple Listing Service which covers the Barrington area, closed detached single family home sales for August of 2007 were reported as 46 sales ranging in price from $195,000 to a $2,900,000 Wynstone home - a golf course community within North Barrington.

In comparison to August of 2006 for Area 10, there were 58 detached single family home sales ranging in price from $220,000 to a $2,150,000 for a Barrington Hills Home.
