The founders of Suburban Village Realty, Paul & Michelle Francis, started their real estate careers in Las Vegas with one of the largest franchises in the world and one of the top real estate brokerages in Las Vegas where we were consistently top producing real estate agents.

Michelle's roots however are in Chicago and more specifically Northbrook. We ended up in Las Vegas to attend the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and like many graduates, the excitement and opportunities available in Las Vegas kept us in Las Vegas. It's a very exciting city with incredible new ideas and a melting pot of entrepreneaurs from around the United States and Real Estate is no exception. Looking back, we really enjoyed working with real estate agents, real estate brokers, and real estate clients from all over the country that brought and shared their ideas to the Las Vegas real estate scene. Las Vegas is the Marketing Capital of the World!

We are still licensed in Nevada - Paul as a real estate salesperson and Michelle as a Broker-Salesperson where we still represent our clients for fantastic vacation homes and investment real estate. As stated, our roots are in Chicago and we've always yearned to move back to the great city of Chicago and that meant sacrificing an incredibly lucrative real estate business for the quality of life that Chicago offers. (You'll do anything for your children, right?)

We love the City of Chicago but we live in a Suburban Village called Barrington, Illinois. We are not so crazy about suburban sprawl but we love the identity that the suburban villages of Chicago offer with unique downtown areas with easy access to the great city of Chicago.

Red Flags in Real Estate

Las Vegas real estate is full of disclosures and that is how we learned the real estate business. It involves extensive investigation in the best interest of clients and Nevada real estate laws are completely set up to protect the consumer as they well should be. Michelle was the Director of the only approved franchised Real Estate School in the state of Nevada and was also the Director of Career Development for a large 150 agent+ brokerage that is part of the largest franchise in the world where she taught new real estate agents how to succeed in the real estate business.
